Founded in 1988, the Carrylift Group has grown to be the largest privately owned materials handling company in the UK, Mr John Routledge is the Managing Director. The Group which comprises two trading companies Carrylift Materials Handling Ltd and Clyde Forklifts Ltd specialises in the hire, sale and long-term rental of forklifts, Nissan forklift trucks and warehousing equipment and other specialist materials handling equipment such as MAFI terminal tractors, side loaders and heavy duty industrial lift trucks.  We also pride ourselves on our "local service" coverage that we provide to all of our customers, local service equals local decisions, providing a more personal and rapid response time all for your business needs.

Carrylift operates through seven strategically located centres and is also a principle member of both the Nissan National Dealership Network and the Kalmar Dealership Network. With 45% of all staff within the company coming from a time served, engineering background you can be sure of our quality of service.
