JBMI Recycles with Carrylift

Forklift truck specialists Carrylift, part of the CorpAcq Group, have won a major contract to supply JBMI Group Ltd with a mixed fleet of high specification new Nissan forklift trucks, which have all been delivered to their site located in Hixon, Staffordshire.

Leading Innovator and Processor of Aluminium and Industrial Waste

Established in 1978, the JBMI Group is a family owned and operated business and through continued investment continues to remain at the forefront of a dynamic waste and recycling market.  The group comprises of three complementary activities, Aluminium Waste Recycling, Powder Metallurgy and Alternative Raw Materials and has an established global reputation across a wide range of industrial markets including aluminium refining and engineering.

JBMI handles up to 100,000 tonnes of waste and recycled products per annum from their site at Hixon, Staffordshire and operates 24/7.  Their site presents a tough challenge for forklift trucks as they require robust machines to cope with their heavy  site conditions and operation along with a reliable service partner to provide optimum uptime.

The solution recommended by Kevin Gorman, Sales Director for Carrylift was to supply JBMI with a mixed fleet of high specification new Nissan diesel and electric counterbalance forklift trucks with 3.00 tonne and 4.00 tonne lifting capacities. Commenting on his recommendation Kevin said: “after carrying out a full site survey and working in partnership with JBMI it was clear that the new Nissan fleet was the ideal solution for their particular environment and operation.”
