Carrylift and GDPR
On the 25th May 2018, the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will legally take effect.
As a business that holds personal data relating to your company, we are legally obliged to inform our customers of what data we hold for you and how we will / will not use it. We contacted our customers on the 24th May 2018 so they could to provide their consent under the new regulations. The information that we store and used, is to enable us to trade with our customers.
Information about your company we may hold your company information within our admin systems, secure confidential accounts system, Microsoft Word, Excel and Protean. This information includes:
• Company Name
• Company Address
• Company Contacts
• Various telephone numbers and fax numbers as supplied by you
• Various email addresses as supplied by you
• VAT number
• Bank Account Details if we have needed to make payments to you, this is held on our online business banking accounts and secure confidential accounts system only, not on our PC office systems.
Information about your company is backed up and stored securely for security and loss prevention purposes. During the transfer, the data is encrypted. The information stored can only be used for restore purposes by our company. As such, we are the only party who can access this. We use data relating to your business to facilitate trading with you and your company and for general correspondence with your staff. We will never pass on or sell this information without your permission.
