Self Employed RTITB Forklift Instructors

Carrylift Group has exciting opportunities for Freelance/Self Employed RTITB qualified forklift Instructors/Trainers to join our busy and expanding team. Delivering industry leading training solutions to our nationally recognised prestigious clients, we can offer both on site training, and full training within our fully equipped Training Centres throughout the UK. We deliver training in all licenced forklift truck categories, from Powered Pallet Trucks, up to 30T Shovel Loaders. In relation to this, we require Instructors who are RTITB Instructor Registered that can deliver training for some or all of the following equipment; FLT, Reach, PPT, MEWP’s, Order Pickers , VNA, Tow Tractors, Pivot Steer, Multi Direction, Rough Terrain Telescopic, Terminal Tractors and Overhead Travelling Crane, Floor Cleaners, Side Loaders, Vehicle Mounted Trucks, etc. As such we offer excellent rates, with the option of flexible and negotiable hours. Instructors must be organised, punctual and have excellent customer service skills. Interviews will be held at our Skelmersdale Head Office, and if successful, you could be offered work locally in the North West, or occasionally anywhere in the UK. The role includes growth of existing accounts alongside the generation of new business, selling forklift trucks and associated products and services. The successful candidate will have a proven track record, ideally within the materials handling industry, and will be able to work on their own initiative, planning effectively, and working closely with other Sales and Operations teams. Duties will be split across two areas of focus. Half of the Area Account Manager's time will be spent calling on potential new customers, with the other half working within a team on the development of our existing customer base. East Anglia and surrounding area East Midlands and surrounding area Greater London and surrounding area North Midlands and surrounding area North West and surrounding area South West and surrounding area The ideal candidates should be time served engineers, responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown repairs on diesel, LPG and electrically operated equipment, and should have a good knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and control systems. A full driving licence is essential. Experience in the maintenance and repair of materials handling equipment, coupled with excellent fault diagnostic skills would be advantageous. To be successful, you must be well organised, and possess a courteous and friendly manner.
