Parts Controller
Sittingbourne
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our busy Sittingbourne Operations Department, for a full time Parts Controller. Full training will be given, though a knowledge of engineering parts would be an advantage. The role includes ordering parts for stock and service engineers, maintaining required stock levels, data entry, and corresponding with customers via email and on the telephone. You must be computer literate and accurate in your approach and be able to work to strict deadlines. General support and assistance to the Engineering Team, Service Controller & Operations Manager will be required. As the role also includes telephone conversations with customers, and liaison with other departments throughout the business, a friendly and helpful manner is essential for this important position. We have a fantastic new opportunity for an Area Account Manager to cover various postcodes in the West Lancashire areas.The role includes growth of existing accounts alongside generation of new business, for the sale of forklift trucks, and related services. The successful candidate will have a proven track record, ideally within the materials handling industry, and will be able to work on their own initiative within a busy sales team. Building close relationships with our local operations team is also essential in driving the business forward. A full, and preferably clean, driving licence is required, and the position is fully supported by our Sales Administration and Telemarketing team. The role will be split equally between cold calling for new business, plus developing existing business to agreed set targets. We offer an excellent package including attractive salary, open ended commission structure, company car or car allowance, laptop and mobile phone. East Anglia and surrounding area East Midlands and surrounding area Greater London and surrounding area North Midlands and surrounding area North West and surrounding area South West and surrounding area The ideal candidates should be time served engineers, responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown repairs on diesel, LPG and electrically operated equipment, and should have a good knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and control systems. A full driving licence is essential. Experience in the maintenance and repair of materials handling equipment, coupled with excellent fault diagnostic skills would be advantageous. To be successful, you must be well organised, and possess a courteous and friendly manner.
